Andrew graduates!

Andrew graduated from Kindergarten last week. He was really shy. The whole time the teacher told stories about him he smirked. He does this thing when he is nervous, he sticks his tongue into his cheek and goes from cheek to cheek with his eyes as huge as saucers. It is so adorable.
Here he is getting his certificate.

The teacher took turns asking each student what they wanted to be when they grew up. Apparently she had asked them the day before to prep them and Andrew said he wasn't sure. Again at the ceremony he wasn't sure. One of the mom's in his class commented to me later that knowing Andrew he would have to think long and hard about what he wanted to be, and whatever he would choose would probably be what he would become. He is quite serious and would most likely take this question seriously. I told him that it was fine that he didn't have an answer, that he should just enjoy being a kid for now.

Some of the highlights of Kindergarten were getting an icecream cone that was all chocolate, even the cone was chocolate. His favorite thing that he learned was making crafts and painting. His favorite friends were Noah and Nathan. Favorite fieldtrip was the corn maze and the Veurink farm because the baby cows were so cute.
