Ken went away to a hockey tournament over the weekend so I had all four boys to myself. We headed out to the usual park for a fun morning together. Isaac stayed in the van and slept the whole time which was perfect timing. I always notice that there aren't many pictures of me and the boys together so we did some. Things went rather well but we were still really happy to get Daddy back and in one piece.

• has started smiling
• coos occasionally when we talk to him
• weighs 13lbs and 9 ounces and is 24 inches long
• is wearing 6 month sleepers and clothes already
• has grown out of size 1 diapers (up to 15 lbs.)
• nurses every three hours with an extra feeding in the evening.
• goes to bed at 9:30pm, wakes at 3am and again at 6am
• has moved from a pack and play in Mommy and Daddy's room to a crib in Luke's and his room
• has lost a lot of his hair on the top and looks like he's balding
• has baby acne worse than any of our other boys (maybe it has to do with all of the chocolate I'm craving and eating)
• is a real snuggle bear
• spends a lot of time in the bouncy chair and on his playmat
• fits right in with the rest of the boys and gets lots of attention from his brothers
• doesn't even flinch with all of the chaos going on around him including Sam's high pitched squeals
• has been spoiled by all of our friends and family with gifts and meals and baking
• sleeps on his tummy
• occasionally finds his thumb
• rarely ever cries, he is very patient as long as he is fed on schedule
• goes for a walk in the bike cart with Luke almost everyday
• went for his first run in the bikecart with Mommy last night
• looks the most like Andrew out of all of the boys

Kidswap

So last week Mel my sister in law and I started kidswap which is quite popular around here. What happens is you pick a day that is designated for swapping kids and then you get a "me day" or morning or afternoon whatever you decide. Last Thursday I had my niece Simone for the morning and this Thursday Mel will take our boys. We both just had a baby in the last three months so for now we take the baby's with us. I am so excited to start doing this, now I can grocery shop, get my hair done, go for a massage, have a nap, go for a run...whatever I choose to do for that time period every second week. I've always done most of this stuff at nights or on Saturday so now my evenings and Saturdays will be free to do other things with Ken and the boys. This is awesome and I encourage any other stay at home moms out there to try it out!

These pictures I took when Simone was here the other day. Her and Luke are just starting to climb everything and actually sit on swings and hold on. It was lots of Fun for all of us!

8 Hours of Fun!

On Saturday we spend the day with our great friends..."The VanderHeide's". You know you are great friends when you can spend 8 hours straight together and still be having a awesome time. Okay...honestly Tracy and I were yawning the last hour or so but that's b/c I just had a baby and she is due to have one in 10 weeks or so. We took all 7 of our boys to Hendersen Park for a few hours then came back to our place and made hot dogs and ice cream cones for the kids, put the kids to bed and then ate like Kings and Queens. Steak dinner! It was so much fun!

I am so incredibly thankful for these four healthy boys and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I am so BLESSED!

Our First few weeks...with Baby Isaac

I bought a Baby sling that fits in the bike cart and it has been a great investment already. I, believe it or not have taken a few walks with all four of the boys SUCCESSFULLY!
