The kids did all the decorating this year. This was Ken's idea and he also suggested that I separate all of the delicate ornaments from the kids ornaments to make things easier.

We also made these snowmen outta milk jugs. The boys wanted lights in their rooms so we came up with this after seeing it online somewhere.
So we headed out Saturday morning to Home Depot where we buy our tree every year. They usually smell pretty fresh and look nice and we get a $25 gift card when we buy our tree there.
The kids were just excited to run around the lot and hide on each other. I'm not even sure if they looked at any trees. It is a bit challenging to look at them since they are all baled up and ready to go on your roof. We have gotten lucky over the years and always end up with a decent shaped tree.
I thought I'd take a picture of the price tag so in years to come we can compare.

and here is my macho husband who easily threw that tree on the roof and tied it down. He would be an awesome help in the tree lot back home one of these years.
Seth came over the other day for a playdate so we decorated some sugar cookies and of course sampled them. Luke's just like his Daddy, look at the concentration while his tongue is outta his mouth.
The rule is no licking knifes you two.

I sure miss this boy now that he's in school five days a week. He was such a helper to me. We had an outing to Henderson Saturday afternoon while Daddy caught up on some school work. Mama and her four boys. It's been awhile since I had all four on an outing by myself. It was fun!
This is what Isaac and I see ahead of us. I remember not too long ago that it hardly seemed like exercice to me to go for a walk since I was always stopping to encourage them to pick up the pace. Now I can't keep up. I had to make a rule that they stop at every bench and wait for me otherwise they would be around the whole lake.

This is the finished product from the class Tracy and I took. It was so much fun. Should've taken a picture of us at the class. It was to learn a technique called Mitred Corners. This is the first thing I made for the baby. I tried to make it for boy or girl but I know it leans more towards a boy which is what I think we are having.
Boys dressed for twin Day at school. I decided once again not to be super creative. Who needs to be when everyone thinks they are twins already.
This is a cute puzzle I found at the thrift store. It's great for not only practicing their letters but also for finding certain letters to spell words.The counting continues. At the rate I'm going I'll be 40 before I reach A Thousand.

53. a get away for the night with Ken to the cabin to celebrate his birthday.

69. watching our nieces and nephews growing up into such great kids that are very loving and helpful.
70. lots of people volunteering to join our migraine network if we need help. We live in such a great community full of people who want and love to help each other out.
71. our great friend Paul who/s enthusasim for our furnace project would make anyone excited about a furnace project.
72. great in laws after hearing awhile ago that in laws are one of the top five stressors in peoples lives.
73. hearing Sunday that our church has had 50 babies born in the last three years.
74. future playdates scheduled.
75. taking a sewing course tonight to make a baby blanket with best friend Tracy whose also expecting.
76. relaxing bubble baths while hubby watches the kids.
77. watching brothers play together for extended periods of time without fighting.
78. sister in laws always willing to help us out by watching our boys.
79. listening to the boys count down until their sleep over at Auntie Denises
