Happy Birthday to your guy! That playground looks gorgeous!
Have fun at Valley Zoo in Edmonton. It's really quite little compared to Calgary. A couple of hints: buy train tickets at the admission booth ($2.50 for 2 and up - under 2 rides free) - merry-go-round is also $2.50 and tickets are at the actual ride - they have pony rides as well but we didn't do that one - Lucy the elephant has a daily show at 2 p.m.. There are also paddle boats near the train station but we didn't go on them. Take your own lunch and snacks - you know what they do at these places :)) We spent 2 hours leisurely checking out the main part but didn't walk to the west side where everything is much more spaced out. We got there at 3 p.m. and lots of people were leaving so it wasn't crowded at all. You can rent strollers there too but they want a deposit of $I50 which you get back when you return it! Take your own! I hope it works out to be fun!
