Quotes from the Kids.

Mom: Andrew would you like to give Baby Isaac a kiss on the head?
Andrew: No cause then I will get his hair in my mouth.

Andrew: (while patting my belly) Mom, you still have a little bit of a belly right?

Sam: (while patting my belly) You still have another baby in your belly?

Andrew: I'm still the biggest brother, right Mom?

Andrew while leaving the room left a toy on the couch and said " Mom make sure Baby Isaac doesn't crawl over and take it, okay?"

When Nana and Papa told the boys we had a baby boy Andrew said " But what about a girl?"

Sam: (while looking at the baby) "Mommy I love Baby Shawna. She's so cute!" (Baby Shawna is their newest cousin and Sam keeps calling Isaac Shawna)

Andrew: Mom can you have another baby now?
Mom: Are you kidding me?
Andrew: But I want some girl babies too.

Isaac's Baptism

Isaac was baptized on Sunday. It was so neat to have Nana and Papa here for baptism and to have them here for his birth. Having them at our house to take care of the boys when we went to the hospital was pretty convenient. They were such a HUGE help to us! Making meals, playing with the kids, cleaning, building closet organizer's. Now they are back in NS until next time. We sure miss them!

And Grandma and Grandpa totally spoiled us by taking the oldest three boys for a few nights. The kids had their backpacks and sleeping bags packed for at least two weeks to have a sleepover at their place and they were so happy to finally get there. Quad rides and baking cookies with Grandma were a few of the highlights.

Boys Bonding time.

These three were hanging out in the laundry room chatting the other day. I'm not sure what they were discussing but it was pretty cute.
I tried to get a good picture of all my boys together. This was the best I could do.

Baby Stuff...

Andrew and Samuel think it's really funny to shove their stuffed animals up their shirts and pretend they are having a baby like mommy. I think I still have them beat with my belly size!

ANDREW: "Mommy and Daddy....how's the baby gonna get outta Mommy's tummy?" "I bet I know...maybe her mouth?"

Ummm...how do we respond to that? Any advice? I didn't think we'd have to explain this one for awhile yet. Help.

Name writing and artwork!

Ken's been asking Andrew and Sam to make a bookmark for their story Bible for weeks now and today we finally did it. The boys are pretty excited for Daddy to read the Bible tonight so they can surprise him. (We will see if they can hold it in that long.)


We also did some painting today while Luke napped. I need to not be so tense when they paint and just let them explore their creativity but....it's so hard. Sam dips his whole hand in the paint jar and pulls out half of the paint....oh well...right?

Andrew now knows how to write his name and has been writing it everywhere the last few weeks. He also likes to write Nana and Papa. For months "he couldn't do it", well he can do it and he does a pretty good job too.
