Reading.

Thriftstore shopping and lunch with friends.

Scheduling!

Playing.

Field trips at school.

Date night.

Dressing up our little Baby doll in all her fun clothes.

Swinging.

Going to church.

Observing brothers and Mommy.

Sam's Kindergarten grad.

Singing.

and last but not least soccer!

Activities and hobbies are endless around here and we are all having lots of fun. The only other thing that consumes a lot of our time lately is speech and I didn't have any pictures of that. Sam's teacher comes to our house twice a week and Luke's teacher comes once a week. I've also just had year end meetings with all of the people supporting both Luke and Sam with their speech. Soccer will be done in 3 weeks, then onto holidays and swimming lessons. Can't wait for summer!

A sweet girl I  know wanted to practice some newborn photography on our little girl. What fun! The ring was my mom's engagement ring and since Emma Nancy was named after my mom we added a special touch in a few of the pictures. I really wish we had professional pictures of each of the kids.

• not having a time limit everytime I leave the house.
• just going for a random drive in the country exploring.

Trying to figure out how to organize a closet for Emma with all her girly stuff...leggings, tights, shorts, skorts, skirts, dresses, onesies, hair stuff, socks, shoes etc. Girls have so much more "stuff".



I love this because that doll is exactly like my very first doll I ever had except my mom redid the yarn hair brown after it fell out. Isn't it cute?


I'm working on something like this now. I bought six frames at the local church thrift store the other day for $2 and they are drying right now after I spraypainted them white. I'll post pics later.

Month 5 week # 3 - Bathtime

I love this picture of Emma when she was a week old. She was already so alert and has loved baths from Day 1.

This is how curly Emma's hair is when it is wet and right after her bath. We call it her Seinfield do.

The boys have been playing with all different sizes of straws in the tub lately. It was recommended to do this from the boys speech therapist. It helps with mouth formation. That and licking beaters and icecream etc. Who says speech can't be fun?

This doesn't happen very often anymore because more water usually ends up out of the tub than in it. Andrew was still at soccer and missed out.

Mother's Day

I had lots of special ladies (mom's) around this Mother's Day so I decided to treat them to lunch at the local golf clubhouse. My mother in law, step mom, grandmother, Emma and I had a girls luncheon together. I'm so blessed to have all of these special women in my life.

My Dad bought roses for us and lobster. What a treat!

Kindergarten class hosts a Mother's Day Tea each year. They get to invite three guests: mommy, grandma and auntie Ang attended this year and Sam served us cake and tea and then the class performed songs and showed us their portfolio's they made throughout the year.

Nannie who is like a mom to me loved cuddling with Emma. Thankfully I had to feed Emma every three hours otherwise I wouldn't have seen much of her for ten days while Nana and Nannie were here.
