Boys Boys Boys!!

Most of you often hear me talking about our great friends Paul and Tracy. They also have three boys, Ethan 5, Noah 3 and Seth who just turned 1. We spend a lot of time together which creates a lot of activity with six boys playing together. It's really neat to watch them all interact. Although Noah and Andrew are born a day apart Andrew seems to be really looking up to Ethan lately. (Not sure if it's being the oldest child or what?) And Sam and Noah really click. Then there is Luke and Seth crawling all over and pulling themselves up against everything. They both seem to be smiling most of the time and love getting any kind of attention from anyone. The other day I watched Tracy's three boys for a few hours. Luke would not stop pulling Seth's soother out of his mouth. None of our boys had soothers so this seems to become a hobby of there's in the nursery at church and when visiting other kids. All six boys are full of energy and love to play. It's neat to see them all together...3 blondies and three brunettes.

Everything is great as long as all of the boys are being quiet at the same time. If one gets bored and wants to play there is a lot of "be quiet, I can't hear" being said.

Road trip to the valley.

Horray! Daniel and Heather are going to have a baby! We are so incredibly happy for them. They will have one good looking baby. Daniel was getting some practicing in with Luke.












We got to spend a night at Daniel and Heather's recently renovated home. I hardly recognized it when I drove up. Such a neat place and so cozy. They live in my favorite part of Nova Scotia, "the valley."









I can't go to the valley without catching up with my great friend Julicia. She had us over for lunch. All of her pets enjoyed getting acquainted with Luke while Julicia and her mom and I caught up.

Spending time with Nannie and Grandad

These are just a few of the Nova Scotian cousins the boys have. They loved playing with Luke and they loved patting his hair!









It was so great to spend time with Nannie and Grandad. We spent a night at their house as well. Nannie had planned a nice dinner for everyone that she could include to come and see me. There must have been 30 people there. She made potato scallop, bubbly bake, brown beans and fish cakes. It was so nice catching up with everyone, it felt just like old times getting together at Nannie and Grandad's. I love staying at their house too. It really feels like home. Everytime I'm there memories of me growing up come back and i can't help but smile.

Good times with Uncle Kevin, Auntie Holly and Princess Meisha

We spent a night at Uncle Kevin's and Auntie Holly's house. Luke had lots of fun playing with all of Meisha's toys and Meisha had lots of fun letting Luke know that they were her toys....










This is my wonderful sister in law Holly. I wish we lived closer so we could spend more time together. I'm so thankful that she is a part of our family. She is a great mom!










Can't you tell we are related?













Meisha and I goofing around. Everyone kept telling me that she was a spitt'in image of me when I was her age. If I was even half as cute as her I must have been pretty cute. She is the most smiley little girl I have ever met. She is so fun loving and full of energy. She charms everyone just like her cousin Sam. They had so many similarities, I couldn't believe it. How can two cousins that live so far apart be so much alike? I can't wait for them to see each other again.




There's Meisha with her Daddy whom she adores. I think she gets her grin from Kevin who also never stops grinning and is also quite the charmer! Thanks Uncle Kevin and Auntie Holly for spending so much time with us. We had a blast!

Good times with Nana and Papa!

Luke and Mommy went on a trip to N.S. We were so spoiled by everyone but especially by Nana and Papa. Luke got in as much cuddle time as he could. Proud Papa!










This was our last night and Luke fell asleep in Papa's arms. It made my heart melt. I definitely cherish these moments and wish they could happen more often.











Nana took good care of me while we toured the Magnetic Hill Winery in Moncton, NB.

They even bought a little car to push around and sit on. Papa took Luke for lots of rides around the house. Thanks soooo much for everything Nana and Papa. We can't wait for your next visit out here.

Groovy sixties party.

My wonderful Sister Ang turned 40 last week and decided to have a theme party of the decade she was born in. A lot of the guests really got into it and went all out with costumes. This is me with friends Tracy and Irene.

I was pretty excited that Ken got so into dressing up. We went to three thrift stores shopping with all three kids. It was a real family outing. We've decided to start a bin full of dress up clothes for the future.














This was at the end of Ang's lane. friends of hers decided to make a display. In case you can't make it out, there are two legs sticking out of a toilet with high heels on the feet. Only rednecks would do such a thing!

School Promotion Supper

Every year Ken's school holds a fundraising supper for the school. This years theme was Hawaii. The food was amazing, they cooked a pig on a spit, had meatballs, rice, baked potatoes, salads, fruit kebobs, veggie platters and the list goes on. I didn't even have to buy a costume, Ken's parents went to Hawaii years ago and Ken's mom had a dress and a flower lay and hair clip to match.

This is one of the teachers with a student who dressed up as a palm tree. He of course won a prize.
