Baby Stuff...

Andrew and Samuel think it's really funny to shove their stuffed animals up their shirts and pretend they are having a baby like mommy. I think I still have them beat with my belly size!

ANDREW: "Mommy and Daddy....how's the baby gonna get outta Mommy's tummy?" "I bet I know...maybe her mouth?"

Ummm...how do we respond to that? Any advice? I didn't think we'd have to explain this one for awhile yet. Help.

Name writing and artwork!

Ken's been asking Andrew and Sam to make a bookmark for their story Bible for weeks now and today we finally did it. The boys are pretty excited for Daddy to read the Bible tonight so they can surprise him. (We will see if they can hold it in that long.)


We also did some painting today while Luke napped. I need to not be so tense when they paint and just let them explore their creativity but....it's so hard. Sam dips his whole hand in the paint jar and pulls out half of the paint....oh well...right?

Andrew now knows how to write his name and has been writing it everywhere the last few weeks. He also likes to write Nana and Papa. For months "he couldn't do it", well he can do it and he does a pretty good job too.

Little Luke is getting big!

So we are on Night #1 of putting Luke in a Toddler bed. I've been procrastinating on making this change over the whole Christmas break. The plan is to put the baby in the crib Luke was sleeping in and move Luke to the Toddler bed. We bought this bed set awhile ago to help with the transition. Luke loves it! When I tucked him in tonight and sang his prayer with him he laid there pretty still with huge eyes not sure what to think. I didn't know what to expect but it's been a few hours already and not a peep. Let's hope it continues this way.
