Month 5 week # 3 - Bathtime

I love this picture of Emma when she was a week old. She was already so alert and has loved baths from Day 1.

This is how curly Emma's hair is when it is wet and right after her bath. We call it her Seinfield do.

The boys have been playing with all different sizes of straws in the tub lately. It was recommended to do this from the boys speech therapist. It helps with mouth formation. That and licking beaters and icecream etc. Who says speech can't be fun?

This doesn't happen very often anymore because more water usually ends up out of the tub than in it. Andrew was still at soccer and missed out.

Mother's Day

I had lots of special ladies (mom's) around this Mother's Day so I decided to treat them to lunch at the local golf clubhouse. My mother in law, step mom, grandmother, Emma and I had a girls luncheon together. I'm so blessed to have all of these special women in my life.

My Dad bought roses for us and lobster. What a treat!

Kindergarten class hosts a Mother's Day Tea each year. They get to invite three guests: mommy, grandma and auntie Ang attended this year and Sam served us cake and tea and then the class performed songs and showed us their portfolio's they made throughout the year.

Love this picture of Ang who I learn so much from about being a great Mama.

Nannie who is like a mom to me loved cuddling with Emma. Thankfully I had to feed Emma every three hours otherwise I wouldn't have seen much of her for ten days while Nana and Nannie were here.

Some of the highlights of Grandma and Grandpa's house are:

• good cooking
• Sunday soup
• Grandma's crabapple tree that we make applesauce from
• quad rides with Grandpa
• throwing rocks in the lake
• checking out Grandma's garden
• taking goodies home from Grandma's garden
• patting the cat who just had babies the other day
• playing in the toy room
• yummy desserts and Grandma's cookies
• hugs, cuddles and high fives with Grandma and Grandpa
