So cute watching hubby get excited over fishing and teaching me and the boys. We picked up two fishing rods for $10 at a garage sale last week for us and they work great. Except we didn't manage to catch anything or get any bites. Our location didn't seem to have many fish, maybe because there is a BEAR in the area.
I think my neck muscles got stronger while we were there. I would cast and then quickly glance everywhere behind us for bears then reel in, then cast etc. We celebrated 7 years together by going to the cabin for a night while Aunty Ang and Andrea took care of the boys. Salmon dinner, drinks, games, a fire, big breakfast, walks, fishing and sleeping in. We actually did all of that in less than 24 hours.
