Yard fun In May

 Baby Chelsea 5 weeks old came along this year and got lots of snuggles.

Hot tub time lasted 10 minutes. There was tons of screaming kids playing in the pool, not so relaxing!

Park outing with Aunite Mel and her ducklings....

 One beautiful day in May Mel and I took her 5 kiddos and my 3 youngest on a trip to the wetlands.

 Lots of baby geese swimming with their mamas.

 I had to chuckle at the baby geese following their mama's while our little ones stayed close to us too.

 After a big hike around the lake we came across all these turtles sunbathing.

 So neat, I bet we saw at least 20 of them.

 Then our explorers headed down another trail.

 We ended up at the playground at Indian Battle park for a picnic lunch.

 Emma was not impressed that her cousin Jason wouldn't move on the slide.

May 2014

We went on a double date with Nana and Papa to Hudson's Pub.

Papa and Nana came for a visit for a week. Last visit for them to Coaldale.

I was spoiled in many ways but fresh flowers was one way and they are still looking great after 2 weeks.

Papa did some yard work and touch ups.

We had a family birthday party which was tons of fun. Nana came up with the idea to have a big birthday together when they come to visit. Then everyone gets to celebrate with them.

Isaac got a bike helmet and a fox t-shirt.

The older three got fox hats and t-shirts.

Daddy got a nice dress shirt and a fox t-shirt too.

Mommy got a East Coast t-shirt, a dressy tank top and necklace.

More April

 Easter Break we got away for a few days to the cabin with Grandma and Grandpa.

 The boys tried to do some fishing.

 Daddy worked on Emma's rock throwing.

 Andrew and Sam used some of the money they made doing flyers to buy a castle lego set.

 Ken mudded and painted the playroom. Looks so much better.

 Mommy took Isaac and Emma on Sam's class fieldtrip to Aggie Days.

Emma Nancy turns two!

Our little Miss Emma turned two on April 23. What a two years it has been watching her grow up and blend into our family. She has so much spunk and personality.

This little girl  is a good mix. She likes playing in the sandbox and with cars one minute, and the next minute is obsessed with hair clips, shoes and dressing herself.
For her birthday she got money, hair clips, dress up princess clothes, a puppy that walks and barks (not a real one), string beads, a potty book and underwear, a necklace, girls lego kit, a new outfit from Nana and Papa as well as a new dress.
We celebrated as a family on her birthday with balloons and cake and presents and had extended family over Sunday evening for ice cream cake and hotdogs.
